This is the story of women who left their children, parents and, under the rain of shells, returned the light to the basement classrooms. In the basement, they talked to them, sang, wrote, restored hope to the children, and did everything they could to help the youngest escape the nightmare of war, if only for a moment. The education process in besieged Sarajevo is a unique symbol of courage and resistance.
